My favourite band was 28 Mhz during high sunspot activities. I had over 250 DXCC countries confirmed back in early 80s of the last century (some on CW - Morse code, and some SSB).

When I migrated to Australia with young family in 1990, I left all my QSL cards in Sarajevo, with plan to come for them later.

Then, a terrible war started in Balkan peninsula and all my possessions in Sarajevo were lost forever.
